Working with SAP Lumira – Part 2

This is the following of Working with SAP Lumira – Part 1. One of the features of Lumira is the SAP Lumira Cloud. Publishing and sharing storyboard and datasets is one of the features of Lumira Cloud.  The storyboard is built in Lumira client and then published to the server.

The share tab lists all the Storyboard and the visualization present in it. Dataset that is used is published on the cloud first before the storyboard is published.

Authentication is required to publish on the cloud. Lumira cloud offers free account upto 1 GB. It can be accessed here.

Lumira shows the Dataset that can be published, along with the operation of creating new or overwriting the existing one that was already uploaded.

The story or the visualization can now be shared on the cloud. Lumira uploads the Dataset as well that is necessary for the visualization to work. Dataset can be ignored if it was already uploaded.

This published visualization can be accessed on the cloud. Authenticate online on the Lumira cloud portal, the list of published items are presented.

The story board is clicked to execute the visualization. All the controls and the visual effects appear in the browser.

This can then be shared with anyone using Lumira cloud. Share can be private on invite only basis and public, through open URL along with an optional message.

Dataset can be explored online in the browser similar to how it is done in Lumira client.

Various factors and specific type of visualization related to Comparison, contribution, trend and correlation can be explored. The Data can then be analyzed as similar to Lumira client.

It can be saved and shared.
